Applications are now being accepted for participation in the next Certified Law Enforcement Executive class - CLEE XIV. Upon successful completion of the program, the participant will receive a certificate with the designation of Certified Law Enforcement Executive. CLEE is sponsored by the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police and the Law Enforcement Foundation.

Applicants who qualify are accepted into the program on a first come basis, so it is important to apply early!
Tuition & Location
Tuition $1800. Participants also will need to cover costs for lodging, breakfast, and dinner for the in-residence days, depending upon their travel distance to Columbus. The remaining costs of the program are subsidized by donations to the Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc. The program is held in Columbus at the Holiday Inn on the Lane (across from the OSU campus).

Program, Preparation & Testing
CLEE is a formal program of leadership training for police officers (sergeant and above) who are at the executive level or who wish to progress to executive levels. Preparation will include self-study and one day of "in-residence study" with an instructor, in Columbus, for each module. Study materials include readings from books and articles, chapter exercises and case studies. Participants will be evaluated on the eight different learning modules through written tests or case studies over a 14-month period and through an oral presentation at the conclusion of the course. Graduate credit can be arranged through Tiffin University.
